Telling a Community’s Story Through Brand

  • Insights

Every great place has a story. At Streetsense we focus on the art of finding and telling that story creatively, whether we’re branding a downtown district, a beloved neighborhood gathering place, a dynamic workplace, or a residential community. Here are some branding projects that we loved working on — and that got results we’re proud to share.

In Lake Nona, FL, Streetsense worked with Tavistock Restaurants to brand and design an outdoor entertainment space featuring eight different food and beverage outlets. The brand team developed Boxi Park, a welcoming and lively destination that was originally envisioned as temporary. With eye-catching graphics, delicious food options, and clever names like The Grill Next Door and Claw and Order, Boxi Park became a permanent local hotspot.

At the Raleigh Durham International Airport (RDU), Streetsense was engaged to promote the launch of ParkRDU’s online booking system, which consolidated the airport’s parking offerings and promoted seamless transactions. Through punchy graphics, bold messaging, and strategic execution, the creative campaign increased the percentage of online parking bookings, increased total parking revenue, and increased market share over competing parking and transportation options.

The brand team worked with Combined Properties to craft a holistic creative vision for Scout on the Circle, a mixed-use development that changed the real estate landscape in Fairfax, VA. Home to two multifamily buildings and a collection of neighborhood retail,  the entire experience was infused with the team’s creativity — down to the parking garage. Scout on the Circle was leased 100% virtually and was 50% occupied within 9 months of opening.

Branding can also immensely impact downtown environments, as proven by our work with The Hollywood Partnership — formerly known as Hollywood’s Business Improvement District. Through a series of facilitated workshops and deep market immersion, Streetsense developed a clear strategy and subsequent brand identity and collateral suite that carved a niche for the group within the local business community as well as in Los Angeles overall.
