Upping the Office Game

We were tasked with transforming three existing office buildings into a holistic, happening Northern Virginia destination. The shuttering office park suffered from falling occupancy rates, lacking the amenities needed to attract quality tenants. Our approach revolved around turning the 13-acre mixed-use campus into an accessible epicenter.


JBG SMITH hired Streetsense as the master planner and architect for the reinvisioning of RTC West. In this role, Streetsense created and implemented a comprehensive creative placemaking package for the development, with the long-term goals of creating a walkable and pedestrian accessible environment, as well as adding on-site retail, food + beverage, and office amenities.
