Streetsense interior architecture project the Lockwood—a stunning multifamily property in Washington D.C.’s Capitol Hill neighborhood—was mentioned in Architectural Digest “20 Coffee Bar Ideas to Get You Buzzing.”
In addition to designing residence and amenity spaces at the property—which include a charming pub and classic English garden—the Streetsense interior architecture team designed a notable beverage counter that includes a filtered hot-water tap and drainboard.
But, according to the article, “it’s the way the contents of the cabinets are showcased that we love.” Senior Design Director Brian Miller goes on to say, “Here, we used punched metal screen doors to showcase these unique finds in a way that perfectly pairs with the aesthetic.”
