Reinventing a historic destination for a modern, multifaceted audience

Learn more about The Parks.

The Parks is a vibrant 66-acre urban village in the green heart of Washington, DC—an authentically grounded, genuinely welcoming community where innovation, creativity, and culture have room to roam. Engaged since the project was just an idea, Streetsense has been integral in creating the development vision and overall brand for The Parks as well as five residential brands and site-wide retail strategy.

Approach/

Streetsense created a holistic, authentic neighborhood story that weaves together historic buildings, new destinations, and open spaces activated by local creativity and culture.

Results/

Through partnering closely with Urban Atlantic, Hines, and Triden Development Group, Streetsense has created a brand that introduced The Parks to the neighborhood, the foundation for building a brand and a place that resonates.

The Brooks/

Due to the success of our efforts for the Parks at Walter Reed original projects, we were tapped to continue that momentum with a comprehensive interior architecture and branding plan, that included an exterior mural, for the Brooks—a thriving condominium community on the historic campus.

The Vale/

As development on the historic campus continued, so did our impact shaping the space as a whole with individual properties. We developed branding and interior architecture for The Vale, luxury apartments that support artful living, nestled within the scenic but accessible Parks property.

The Hartley/

Streetsense was called upon once again to develop a branding identity and strategic plan for the Hartley, the newest luxury apartment complex on the Parks at Historic Walter Reed campus, one that emphasizes connection, neighborhood retailers, and access to nature.
