We’re thrilled to announce that we, as a part of a project in partnership with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, won the International Downtown Association’s Pinnacle Award, representing the most creative and inspiring innovations in the industry.

The Rapid Recovery Planning Program recognized for the Pinnacle Award distributed nearly $10 million across 124 communities throughout the Commonwealth to assess the impacts of COVID-19 and develop actionable, project-based recovery plans tailored to the unique economic challenges in downtowns, town centers, and commercial districts. Larisa Ortiz, Managing Director of our Public Non-Profit Solutions team, dives into the details of the Rapid Recovery Planning Program and similar multi-jurisdictional downtown planning projects in the International Journal of Economic Development.

We could not be more proud to partner with a great team, and for that effort to be recognized by an industry leader. Learn more about our work with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts here and watch this video to learn more about the project.
