Pure Grey—then Marriott International’s in-house elite restaurant and bar consultancy, now Streetsense’s hospitality arm—was asked to bring the comforts of the world-renowned Market Kitchen brand to the W Algarve in Portugal, while respecting a more vibrant social composition and incorporating local culinary elements.
Seeking a culinary approach that will respect the vibe and fine local touch, the hospitality team crafted an elevated and accessible menu—perfect for three-meal, prime for localization—that celebrates international signature dishes but prepares them with local ingredients.

Catalyzing on a slew of awards to the Market Kitchen, Doha, including Best European Restaurant TimeOut Doha and Restaurant of the Year for BBC Good Food MEA Awards, Spice Market at the W Algarve in Portugal adds to this sterling reputation with an enhanced respect to local cuisine.
Never over-thought of pretentious, the food is simply prepared from the best, seasonal ingredients and presented in a beautiful yet approachable way.
