As a company that has 42 potted plants in just one office, it’s pretty easy to tell that we’re fans of greenery — but we’re also fans of supporting green initiatives, both in our work and daily lives.
At Streetsense, we strive to create places people love to be, and we wouldn’t be able to do that without helping contribute to a sustainable environment. We try to treat every day like it’s Earth Day — whether it’s opting for public transportation on our commutes or choosing to present deliverables digitally rather than printing them.
While the little things we do in the office each day add up (using a Swell bottle for just a year helps save 217 plastic water bottles from going to a landfill!) we realize that approaching sustainability from a global perspective is what will ultimately preserve our planet for future generations.
As often as possible, we incorporate environmentally friendly elements into our work, turning to one of our 17 USGBC members for their insights, or even partnering with sustainable consulting firms for maximum impact. We’re also lucky enough to have Maryland’s first WELL-accredited architect as one of our team members!
As we continue to help shape city neighborhoods and create meaningful brands, we’re approaching the projects with sustainability in mind. We’re grateful to be able to work with clients that feel the same way as we do about the environment and are hopeful for a greener future.
