Kurt Haglund Joins Streetsense as Chief Operating Officer to Lead Company Global Operations

Bethesda, Md., June 18, 2019 – Streetsense, an experience-focused strategy and design collective, today announced that Kurt Haglund has joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Haglund joins Streetsense with more than 30 years having played senior roles with leading design, brokerage, and construction companies, including Gensler, RTKL Associates, JLL, and most recently, rand* Construction, where he served as COO and was responsible for helping build its business structures, implement a generational leadership transition, and grow its national presence.

Haglund brings with him extensive industry knowledge in building creative organizations and delivering projects at human scale. At rand*, Haglund was responsible for the business structure across its four national offices, which allowed the organization to increase its revenue and support an increasingly national client base and geographic expansion. In addition to his industry experience, Haglund is a member of a variety of committees, organizations, and academic institutions, including The Economic Club of Washington, D.C., and serves on the Board of Visitors for the University of Maryland School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation.
