The transformation of 25 Water Street has made national headlines — including in The New York Times — as the largest office-to-residential conversion in the country. What was once a corporate hub of cubicles and conference rooms is now SoMA, a bold new lifestyle-driven community in the heart of New York’s Financial District. Designed by CetraRuddy, the reimagined tower brings 1,320 apartments and over 100,000 square feet of amenities to market, including a scent-pumped atrium, rooftop pool, and vibrant gathering spaces. The project represents a major milestone in the evolution of urban living, redefining what’s possible for former commercial buildings.
Streetsense was proud to partner with Compass, Metro Loft Management, and GFP Real Estate to bring the SoMA brand to life. From early visioning to final launch, we shaped the creative strategy across every touchpoint — including renderings, photography, the website (somanyc.com), brochures, floor plans, campaigns, and paid and social media. SoMA stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and creativity in rewriting a building’s story for a new generation.
