We’re so excited that our client Newland has been awarded the 2021 Master Planned Community of the Year by the National Association of Homeowners for Nexton — an incredible honor! Congratulations to everyone who’s been involved over the years. We’re so proud to be a part of this truly stunning project.
Nexton is a 5,000-acre community in Summerville, South Carolina — just west of Charleston — that has been taking shape over the past 10 years. Today, Nexton is home to more than 6,000 people in a mix of both single-family homes and luxury rentals. The mixed-use master-planned community also features commercial and office spaces, with banks, several hotels, destination restaurants, retail, and a number of local service sector tenants.
Streetsense’s contribution and involvement have focused around Nexton’s newest neighborhood where our team has been directing the planning and design of Midtown, a walkable mixed-use neighborhood — woven into the natural environment and maximizing all the best of what Nexton has to offer. We can’t wait to see the work we’ve been doing deliver and to watch Midtown take shape.
